High School Program
Introduce students in grades 9 and 10 to future career possibilities, and provide them with true-to-life academic challenges. Through a 64-page American Careers student publication and an online Teaching Guide with contextual student projects, they’ll begin to envision future careers. Features of the American Careers high school program include:
- The experiences of professionals at work in 16 career clusters
- Integrated, standards-based lessons that promote 21st-century skills
- An engaging career interest inventory, a performance assessment and a general attitude survey
- Salary and education data for occupations in all 16 clusters and pathways
- A high school and four-year postsecondary planning guide
- Career-related tips for teens
